We were so lucky to have the chance to take a winter vacation at
the Super Clubs Breezes Resort in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.
We won the trip from the Gardner Dam Grain Terminal's customer
appreciation draw held last fall - the trip was wonderful!
The trip doubled as a honeymoon for us since we had not been
able to have one when we were married in 2001.   I (Beth) had
never taken a hot winter holiday before, in fact - I don't believe
that I have ever stayed in a hotel for more than 2 consecutive nights
before, so this was a real treat.   We loved it!

We met many wonderful people on our holiday,
but unfortunately did not get pictures of all of them.

The plane that we took went non-stop from Saskatoon to Puerto Plata.
There were about 30 rows of nine seats for passengers,
with the majority coming from Saskatoon.
Most of the people we met were from the prairies and Ontario
with a few from Quebec, the United States, England,
Europe & the maritimes.
