Prairie Paper-Making Instructions & Tips

from PrairieWebs.com
Back to Prairie Paper

You will need:
- your paper-making kit
- a blender& an iron
- a basin & a drain pan
- a sponge & press clothes
- a rolling pin
- the pulp materials

Assemble frame:
Plastic grid on bottom
Tight pulp screen next
Wooden frame on top

You can arrange material in
the frame to help you decide
how much you need.

Float the frame assembly
in a basin of water.

Put the recycled paper into
your blender. Blend on high
until you have the proper
consistency. Blending longer
will produce a finer paper.
Mix in any botanicals, glitter, etc
at the end of this blending cycle.

Pour the pulp directly
into the paper-making
frame floating in the
water. Other items could
be embedded into the pulp
at this stage.
