We have been busy designing and marketing
a new product - a paper-making frame, currently available in two sizes. Paper is made from a base of recycled pulp - anything from used coffee filters to dryer lint - combined with plant fibre (leaves or flowers) from the garden. It takes less than 1/2 hour to create a dried piece of paper using our kits and method. The pulp is poured directly into the frame, thus eliminating much of the mess associated with paper making pulp. The paper sheets can be ironed dry for those of us who are impatient and want to see the finished product immediately. The kits are adapted from others that we have tried and combines different techniques. The filtering screen is finer than any we could find in other kits - which gives you more time to manipulate the pulp or embed articles into the sheet before it drains. Paper-making frame kits are currently available in two sizes. The larger frame will make a piece of paper that is 8.5 x 11 inches. Cost is $30.00 plus shipping. The smaller frame will make a piece of paper measuring 5.5 x 8.5 inches. The cost for the smaller frame is $20.00 plus shipping. (Prices are quoted are based upon the Canadian dollar). The kits include the wooden top frame, pulp screen, and plastic bottom grid. Instructions and one package of dried botanical material are also included. We also have dried botanicals available and texture screens available. If you would prefer to purchase the finished sheet of paper, we have that available as well. Once we have a shipping destination, we will calculate the shipping costs, and bill you either through the secure PayPal site if you wish to pay by credit card, OR we will email you an invoice so you can pay via cheque or money order. Once payment is received, the product will be shipped. |
